Hello, My Name is Brandon. I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). My medical family practice graduate degree is from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia in 2016. Then in an effort to help a family member, I completed a Psychiatric Mental Health postgraduate degree which specialized in Psychiatric medication management at Washburn University, Topeka, Kanas in 2019. I am a doctoral (Ph.D.) candidate in Behavioral Therapy and Clinical Sexology at the International Institute of Clinical Sexology in Miami Shores, FL. I am grateful to have served as a U. S. Army Combat Medic post 9/11, where I provided medical support in combat zones. Additionally, I have extensive psychiatric and emergency medical experience.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner as well as a family nurse practitioner I use and all of my skills and training to best serve clients. I work from the perspective that, “You are the boss in our relationship, I am your guide.” Together I work with clients and collaborate with therapists to select medications that work and determine what is best. This collaborative practice style produces the best outcomes in treatment.
I have a special interest in the ADHD community and offer comprehensive ADHD testing. This testing is provided along with same day medication management. Other focus areas include those struggling with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse and Schizo related disorders. Medication genetic testing is also provided to assist with customizing your medication plan, with results that can have you feeling better faster with less medication side effects. This testing is often covered by your insurance.
I enjoy competitive swimming, spending time with my children and volunteering in my local community centers.
